- Enrich the Personal Return and Satisfaction of the Fixed
Operations Management experience
Who We Are
The Forum was first
formed in 1980 as The
Forum for Professional
Parts Management. As the
automotive dealership
business has changed
and evolved so has the
Forum. In 2004 we
became the Forum for
Fixed Operations
Management to help build
a bridge between Parts
and Service operations.
The Forum meets twice each year at locations chosen by the
membership. An effort is made to alternate geographic locations
to allow as many members to attend as possible. Forum
meetings include:
- Important guests from Ford Motor Company who can
provide insight into current and future issues as they
relate to our business.
- Workshops in which members discuss techniques to
increase gross and net profitability, reduce idle inventory,
and enhance customer satisfaction throughout all areas
of Fixed Operations..
- Formal sharing of Best Management Ideas among
members.
- Interaction with fellow managers from a wide range of
geographic locations, business volumes, and experience
levels during meetings and informal social functions.
